The CO2 AUSTRALIA™ Carbon Sequestration Program (the Program) provides a turn-key solution for your voluntary action, your mandatory obligation or your investment.

The Program involves the establishment of commercial scale permanent, high yielding Carbon Sinks. The Program, which is unique in the Australian market, involves plantings of mallee eucalypts for the purpose of generating Carbon Offsets.

CO2 Australia provides the complete solution by undertaking all the necessary steps to generate your Carbon Offsets. All plantings are undertaken in a Kyoto consistent manner, regardless of whether the plantings are actually registered under a scheme (such as the NSW Greenhouse Gas Abatement Scheme or the Federal Governments Greenhouse Friendly™ Program).

  • Source Kyoto compliant land (if not provided by the client).
  • Develop a detailed management plan for the project.
  • Develop a detailed risk management plan for the project.
  • Test soil for salinity.
  • Test soil depth.
  • Prepare plantation maps.
  • Controlled weed spraying.
  • Provide seed.
  • Germinate seedlings.
  • Rip and mound the land.
  • Plant the land.
  • Survey the area planted.
  • Manage legal negotiations with landowners.
  • Arrange and manage all the legal documents including covenants on title.
  • Arrange third party verification.
  • Maintain the trees.
  • Monitor the site for any risk events.
  • Measure the carbon inventory.
