CO2 Australia is proud to be presenting at the 39th Annual Conference of the International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA), Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre 29 April 2 May 2019. The IAIA conference travels widely, and is back in Australia for the first time in 11 years with this year’s theme Evolution or revolution: where next for impact assessment?
CO2 Australia consultant Claire Fletcher will be a panelist at Monday 29 April’s session Meeting the marine biodiversity challenge, this year’s only marine session which aims to identify issues, demonstrate where solutions can be found, and set an agenda for improvement.
On Wednesday 1 May, Senior Project Manager Christopher Ewing will be speaking at Theme Forum Seeing the forest for the trees: are offsets the panacea? with his presentation The past, present and future of environmental offsets. Christopher’s presentation will explore whether the present offsets framework is an improvement on the past, and whether we see any opportunities for further reform.
